Polina Agureeva (Полина Агуреева) and Poetry

Two by Marina Tsvetaeva, one by Joseph Brodsky, one by Nikolai Gumilyov. Four poems sung the way more should be sung. By Polina Agureeva (= Полина Агуреева, Volgograd, 1976). First and foremost an actress, but listen to this.

Мне тебя уже не надо (I Don’t Need You Anymore)

Music by Mikael Tariverdiev (= Микаэл Таривердиев, 1931–1996). The text is a poem (1918) by Marina Tsvetaeva (= Марина Цветаева, 1892–1941). The text is here, a recitation here.

Моя маленькая (My Little One)

Also based on a poem by Tsvetaeva. The tenth untitled one from Стихи к Сонечке (1919), also known as Ландыш, ландыш белоснежный (“Lily of the valley, lily white”). The text is here, recitations here and here. See also the history of the poem.

Based on a poem by Joseph Brodsky (= Иосиф Бродский, 1940–1996). Music by Viktor Berkovsky (= Виктор Берковский, 1932–2005). The text is here, also known as Песенка ( here).

Слово (Word)
