Yet another punk rock band that’s been around for a long time. Founded in the previous century (1999), you’d think ПОРТ(812) would be nearing its expiration date by now. But judging by their latest album, ПОРТ(812) is still fresh and energetic—and punk is far from dead.
812 is the area code for Saint Petersburg, where ПОРТ(812) is based. The founding date, 8-12, is a nice coincidence.
Honor, freedom, and love. And нет других богов—no other gods. From the album Подарок (Gift, 2020). A gift for fans of old-school straightforward positive punk. Check out other tracks from the album, like Мама, прости, Собачий вальс, Как Чача Пьян, Мы (Время И Друзья), and the title track.
A rather unflattering description of (99 out of 100) people to choose from: спортсменов, певцов, актёров, and лжецов—athletes, singers, actors, and liars. From 2019, also found on Подарок.
“Wohowoho” is Esperanto in punk, and everyone can do it. Otherwise, I walked and saw a lot (гулял и столько видывал), flipped through roads (дороги перелистывал), tossed worries aside (печали прочь откидывал), loved, and lived passionately (любил и жил неистово). From Королевы и хулиганы (Queens and Hooligans, 2017), for which this is the title track.

Singer Илья Никитин is also in Маррадёры. Slightly older (since 1993) than ПОРТ(812), and a bit rawer too. Here’s the connection with their hometown in Санкт-Петербург, Ты - Мой, based on England Belongs To Me by Cock Sparrer.
Most of the music here is also available in an
